Toy Story: A boy's top choice toy, a doll named Woody, feels bullied and properly so by the emergence of a new toy, a high-tech spaceman model promoted on Television. An adult story masquerading as a kids film, this tale of kinship, fickleness, and the need for acceptance has a vibrant cast of characters led by Woody and his adversary, Thrill Light-year. Their facial proclamations and body language is as excellent as anything ever seen in a conventional animation. Cast includes Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Jim Varney, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Annie Potts, Laurie Metcalf, and R. Lee Ermey. (80 minutes, 1995)
Heartland Reggae: Shoddy documentary of '78 show remembering a visit to Jamaica by Haile Selassie. The music makes it worth watching. Cast includes Bob Marley and the Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Althea and Donna. (87 minutes, 1980)
The All-American Boy: Jumbled drama in reference to Olympic optimistic Voight's effort to be a successful boxer; striking locations of northern California, but that's all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)
Hollow Man: Sebastian Caine is working on a top-secret assignment for the U.S. government. He is trying to unlock the keys to human invisibility. After succeeding on laboratory animals, he can't resist, and takes the serum himself. He becomes irreversibly invisible, and feels threatened by those trying to cure him.
Black like Me: Powerful drama based on real history of journalist who took drugs that permitted him to pass for black so he might experience racial prejudice first hand. Some facets of presentation are un-contemporary, although topics are still pertinent. There are plenty of sites that offer their services completely free, but these may be pirated copies of movies. Downloads Movies Watch movies on the days you don't feel like watching them. Remember my favorites are horror movies though, so these are just too hard to pass up.
