Introduction To Off-Road Inline Boards

By Baxter Wells

An inline board is like a skateboard in that you step on and ride it like one, but after that, they are much different. An off road inline board is a two wheeled board that can be used both on an off road.

The Surfari and the Dirtsurfer are two solid, quality inline boards that can be used on and off road. They both have similarities but they each offer a different riding experience.

What are some of the qualities of an off road inline board like the Surfari and the Dirtsurfer? First off, they are both exceptional at going fast. Inline boards like the ones I have mentioned offer a much more stable ride when compared to traditional four wheeled skateboards and longboards.

Anyone who likes to go fast will love the fact that these two inline boards will never, ever experience speed wobble. Anyone who has experienced knows how scary it can be.

The big wheels on these boards are great for tackling all sorts of terrains. They can easily handle the occasional bump, stick, or gravel. What would normally send a skateboarder flying is easy to roll over on the big wheels the Dirtsurfer and Surfari have.

When you are board of riding paved surfaces on a Ripstik, you cant really take it off-roading. What is great about an off road inline board is that it can be used both on and off the road. This gives you many more options.

If you are a boarder that is looking for something fun, fast, and extreme, an off road inline board may be just what you are looking for. The Surfari is a great board for those who want to have more of the surfing feel while riding, while the Dirtsurfer caters to those who are looking for speed, maybe some jumps, and harder off road riding.
