A Few Accurate Hollywood Movie Summaries To View

It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Jack's Back: Umpteenth retelling of the Jack The Ripper legend is updated to modern day L.A. where youthful physician Spader is the #1 suspect. Prostitutes are slaughtered in grisly style one hundred years to the night after Bloody Jack's legendary offenses. The twist midway through is preposterous. Cast includes James Spader, Cynthia Gibb, Pole Loomis, Rex Ryon, Robert Picardo, Chris Mulkey, and Dauitza Kingsley. (97 minutes, 1988)

Holiday Affair: Well-finished Christmas time tale of war widow Leigh, with a small child, who's helped by good guy Corey. Cast includes Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, Wendell Corey, Gordon Gebert, Griff Barnett, Esther Dale, Henry O'Neill, and Henry Harry Morgan. (87 minutes, 1949)

The Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy: Arthur Dent is about to see his house get bulldozed down for a new road coming through. His best friend is unconcerned, and takes him to the pub for some beers. Then he shocks Arthur by telling him that he is an alien, and that the Earth will be destroyed in a few minutes, as a hyperspace bypass is being built. Arthur has a moment or two to decide to go with his friend, as they will hitchhike on a passing space freighter. He decides to go, and this starts an incredible adventure.

Above the Law: This is Steven Segal's breakout movie. He plays a Chicago Police man who takes matters into his own hands. As the title implies, he is 'above the law'. He uses his large body and martial arts skills to wreak havoc on the bad guys. Stars include Steven Segal, Pam Grier, and Sharon Stone. (1988 Action)

Heartland Reggae: Shoddy documentary of '78 show remembering a visit to Jamaica by Haile Selassie. The music makes it worth watching. Cast includes Bob Marley and the Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Althea and Donna. (87 minutes, 1980)

Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip: Pryor on Africa, sex, lawyers, his spouse, sex, Italian mobsters, more sex, and freebasing. Some of it's ludicrous, some isn't, however the audience is always shown tripled over with laughter. (82 minutes, 1982)

Wedding Crashers: John and Jeremy have found out a great way to pick up women, by crashing weddings. John breaks wedding crasher rules, and falls in love with Claire. This severe change will test the strength of John and Jeremy's longtime friendship.

Buffalo Soldiers: In 1989, the peacetime U.S. Army stationed in Germany is largely manned by men who had an option of penitentiary or time in the service. One of them (Phoenix) is a salesperson who wheels and deals, Bilko-like, under the nose of his naive commander (Harris) till a new top sergeant shows up (Glenn) who's decided to clean things up. Cast includes Joaquin Phoenix, Ed Harris, Scott Glenn, Anna Paquin, Elizabeth McGovern, Michael Pena, Leon Robinson, Gabriel Mann, and Dean Stockwell. (98 minutes, 2003)

Commando: Here's an extremely loud comic magazine flick in reference to a retired special ops man (Schwarzenegger), who's made to go back in time when vengeful goons abduct his child. Cast includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Daybreak Chong, Dan Hedaya, Vernon Wells, David Patrick Kelly, and Alyssa Milano. (88 minutes, 1985)

For file downloads use a phrase like "Free Movie Rentals". Not all searches get the right result. If the first one fails to work out try another one. "Movie Rentals Online" would be worth a try.
