Giving the Fun Gift of Personalized Poker Chips
By Jeff West
Have you ever considered buying some personalized poker chips? If you have, but are yet to make your mind up, here are a few points you might like to consider. Firstly, personalized poker chips are an opportunity to bring a little originality and fun into the game. They would actually make a great gift for anyone you know who stages regular games at home, or even for your self if you play host too. Personalizing chips is a great gimmick, but it does take a little bit of thought if the personalization is going to stand the test of time.
But before you rush off and start buying any personalized poker chips, give it some serious thought beforehand. To make a gift that will have lasting meaning, you may need to put your thinking cap on. The usual method of personalizing poker chips is to print them with the person's name, or initials, and or the date of presentation, or even their birth date. But if you delve a little deeper, you may be able to come up with something a bit more appropriate, (some sort of joke, or event that was enjoyed and shared in the past).
The more appropriate the personalization is, the more it is going to mean to the recipient, and the more they will value the gift and the thought behind it. Some companies actually give personalized poker chips as a gift to long serving employees, or employees who have reached a particular target or milestone. Company gifts of this nature can of course be decorated with the company's name or their logo, or even both.
When you know how you are going to do the personalization, the next thing to do is to track down a good supplier. You'll find plenty of choice if you search online. You need to ascertain that the chips the supplier uses are best quality; but not only that; you also need to ascertain that their quality of print is up to the job too. You don't want something that is going to fade of break within a matter of months. You want to make sure they will last so that the gift carries on giving pleasure to its user.
Once you have decided just what it is that you would like to see appear on the poker chips, you have to start shopping around. There are many places that can create and sell to you, personalized poker chips. The key is to make sure that you are going with a company that can provide you with high quality poker chips. The better quality the poker chips are, the longer they will last.
While purchasing poker chips, you want to consider all of the people you know who may like a set of their own. This way, when you order it all together you will most likely save a substantial amount of money on the shipping costs. Some companies can even offer larger discounts for simply buying in bulk.
The more thorough your research, the more chance you stand of completing you purchase satisfactorily. So, what are you waiting for? Get your personalization ideas together, select a good supplier, and distribute a little bit of fun amongst your poker mad pals.

Biking is Thriving Where Mountain Biking Began: Marin County, CA
By David DuPont
Whatever type of bicycling you prefer " BMX, Mountain or Road bicycling, Marin is a great place to do it. The terrain popular with BMXers, as well as established biking trails, and paved bike pathways are all found throughout the County. It is quite well known that Marin County was the birthplace of Mountain biking. BMX and Mountain biking aside, the most popular form of biking nowadays is Road bicycling.
Beginning with some history, its interesting to know that well-known BMX biker Billy Savage lived and biked in Marin from 1976 to 1983, but BMX, as a category, isnt as common in Marin as the other types of biking.
BMX bicycles have to be extremely sturdy machines because they take a beating during some extreme sporting events! Designed for stunts, tricks, and racing on hilly dirt BMX tracks, they have a single gear ratio with a freewheel and are built with smaller frames and wheels with wider, treaded tires.
It was clear that BMX had finally arrived when BMX events were part of the Summer Olympics in China in 2008 in four different venues, which was a first for the sport. U.S. cyclists took half of the first six medals in BMX racing ever awarded in the history of the Olympics.
Mountain biking is rough and tough going and a good day isnt complete without getting at least some mud in your teeth. The Web site www.klunkerz.com provides complete information about each of the individuals who participated in mountain biking in Marin during the 1970s to make it the world-class sport that it is today.
Downhill trails, carved out around Mount Tamalpais, were where Mountain biking pioneers did a lot of their biking in the 1970s. This was when Joe Breeze, Gary Fisher and others converted cruisers and balloon-tire bicycles into machines that could weather any type of road conditions.
The early days of mountain biking in Marin were memorialized by Billy Savage recently in a film he directed called Klunkerz. In the process of making his film, what he found fascinating is that all the pioneers are very committed to the bicycle as transportation, and to the ecological and physical benefits of cycling to this day. They were reducing, reusing, and recycling long before it was hip to be green. They gave those old Klunkerz a new life, rescuing them out of trashcans and junkyards. They all continue to live this way in all aspects of their lives.
As the county establishes more bike paths where serious road cyclists can do some serious biking Road bicycling has become very popular in recent years. The Marin County Bicycling Coalition (www.marinbike.org) promotes safe bicycling for everyday transportation and recreation. With the MCBC goal for 20% of trips in Marin County to be made by walking or bicycling, Marin County is one of only four counties nationwide that are engaged in a federal Non-motorized Transportation Pilot Program that promotes road bicycling, particularly commuting.
The MCBC Web site offers all the latest about this and other initiatives underway under the umbrella of this ambitious organization. One of their Web pages has links to a wonderful array of informative pages, including the following:
* (More than) 50 Good Reasons to Bicycle
* Basic Cycling Essentials
* Cycling for Fun
* The Etiquette of Cycling
* Benefits of Bicycle Commuting
* The Marin Bicycle Map (free upon joining the Marin County Bicycling Coalition)

All About No Deposit Casino
By Anand Maheshwari
It is being found that the concept of no deposit casino bonus is misleading people increasingly and common professional bonus hunters and punters are among the sufferers. What can be the basic problem with no deposit casino bonus then? As per experts, the offer of no deposit happens to be a mere form of advertising that speak out in the language, "You can have this money given that you try our casino games, if you lose the money don't worry as it's a gift from us to you". It also indicates a hidden message, "Here's a $100 chip for staying at our hotel".
Are you getting the point? As indicated by studies, there are, if truth be told, three different forms of no deposit casino bonuses. These include free spins (e.g. 100 free spins on the fruit machine slots), free money (e.g. $10 to play our casino games), and free money with a time constraint (e.g. play with $500 for 1 hour). What leads to the confusion then? It occurs when players, for the sake of earning money, take these offers granted and without reading the "terms and conditions." The formidable presence of terms and conditions indicate that there is a limit to how much one can win and it is in the region of $200. The other term that should be focused always is the "deposit to claim you winnings" condition. This means that a person, if he/she wins $200, will have to deposit an amount before the sum of $200 is claimed.
Why is this done? The main objective is to prevent the professional bonus hunters from making the most of the no deposit casino bonus system. On the other hand, the third term that should be concentrated is the play through requirements. This point toward how much the player need to wager before his/her bonus has been cleared. This is similar to the play through requirements for the regular Casino Bonus.
What should you do to collect the no deposit casino bonus? You have to click on the casino you want to play at, followed by the opening of new player real money account. The next steps include downloading of the casino (if there is any necessity), visit to the cashier and entering the associated bonus code in the section marked "enter bonus code" or "enter promo code" or "redeem coupon". Keep in mind that no deposit casino bonus is credited to the player's account immediately and hence you don't have to worry.
Well, some more conditions have to be satisfied before the withdrawal of no deposit casino bonus. There is no need of any deposit or credit card information to collect a no deposit bonus. Take for instance you have become able to collect on a $50 free chip bonus. You can use the bonus money in the form of real money while betting. But you have to gratify several stipulations of casino's play through so as to cash it out.
There may be differences between rules and regulations of online casinos (a great possibility is there). So you are advised to check casino's policy and bonus rules regarding collecting multiple bonuses.

Swing Trading Explained (Part I)
By Ahmad Hassam
Lets take the analogy of a cricket team. There are 11 players in each team in the match. All players are talented and super fit. Everyone can throw and catch the ball. Everyone is a hard hitter. However some are more skilled at balling. Others are more skilled at batting. Not many runs will be made and the match will be lost if the baller is going to do the job of the batter. Not knowing what type of a trader you are can make or break your trading career. Determining your trading style is very important right from the beginning.
Investing in the currency markets or stock markets is also the same. It depends on your personality makeup what type of trading is best suited to you. In general there are three type of trading styles: Position trading, swing trading and day trading. You need to know what type of trading style is best suited for you.
For example, you expect the USD to strengthen against GBP in the coming six months. You buy currency call options on USD and currency put options on GBP. In currency trading, position trading means you are in a trade for many months trying to capitalize on a major long term move in the currency market. Options traders can also be position traders through covered calls and other options trading strategies. Position Trading is generally the buy and hold strategy employed by most people of investing in stocks over a long haul. Usually positions traders are in a trade for a large long term move like when you carry trade AUD/JPY.
Swing trading is possibly the most dynamic of the three types of trading as the swing trader is able to switch up holding times quickly as the market demands. Swing Trading means taking short term positions in anticipation of quick market movements over a series of days or weeks. Swing traders take advantage of technical and fundamental analysis.
In Day Trading, you attempt to capitalize on intraday movements with the markets often trading on momentum and news. Day traders are also known as Kings of Stress. Day trading is not easy and it is certainly not a hobby. Sometimes when the positions warrants holding for a longer period, day trading can become swing trading!
Day trading is ideal for those who are able to handle erratic market movements while actually also having time to monitor the positions throughout the day. You should note that if you dont have time to watch your trades every moment, you should not think of day trading. Day trading is the riskiest of the three trading styles.
Know That Swing Trading Is a Better Alternative to Day Trading Day trading hardly ever ends up well especially if the trader has no previous professional trading experience. Only 10% of the day traders succeed. Many people are attracted to the glamour and excitement of day trading. Most day trader usually blow up their accounts and fade away soon.
By holding positions overnight and even for a few weeks, you can expose less money for larger moves. Swing trading can be on the other hand a much more effective trading style especially if you are a newer trader. If you are a new trader, think about it for a moment.

It is most often installed as a factory replacement for vehicles with worn out shocks or upgraded suspensions. It's also recommended for the budget-minded consumer. The RS5000 was engineered for use ranging from street to mild off-road. The result of this is a ride quality that's often bumpier than what the factory shocks provided because firm shocks are ideal for off-road driving and this comes at the sacrifice of some street comfort.
The Rancho RSX shock is an upgrade from the RS5000. The RSX is unique in that it incorporates an automatic "impact-sensing" reflex valve that opens and closes depending on how quickly the piston is forced in or out. This provides a broader range of comfort and control across the driving spectrum from street to aggressive off-road.
The best feature of the RSX is that each shock is specifically engineered for the vehicle upon which it will be installed. This provides optimal performance in conjunction with the vehicle's weight. Unfortunately, there is a downside of the RSX shock -- it's not available for heavy-duty (HD) and super-duty (SD) trucks and full-size SUVs. Does this mean that the RSX can't handle off-road use? Absolutely not, it is very capable off-road. It just can't handle the excess weight of certain full-size vehicles. Perhaps Rancho will address this in the future.
An upgrade from both the RS5000 and RSX is the RS9000XL. The RS9000XL features a manually-tuned valve system that allows the driver complete control of shock firmness setting. This provides the widest range of control across the driving spectrum from street to extreme off-road. Ride quality can be set soft for highway driving, medium for city/urban driving, and firm for off-road driving and even towing.
There are nine possible settings so a quality ride can be had by even the pickiest drivers (or their passengers). In addition to manual tuning, an auxiliary RS999705 remote control unit is available that allows the shocks to be adjusted at the touch of a button while the vehicle is parked or in motion. The RS9000XL was designed with today's bigger trucks in mind so in addition to the typical 2-1/8" and 2-3/8" body diameters found on most shocks, the RS9000XL is also available with a 2-3/4" body for select full-size applications.
When selecting the best Rancho shocks for your needs, you'll have to consider your budget and what kind of driving they'll be used for. As expected, RS5000 cost the least, RSX cost approximately 40-50% more, and RS9000XL cost approximately 40-50% more than that. If you're looking to save money or merely replace your old, worn out shocks, the RS5000's will work adequately. If you're still on a budget, but want a ride superior to what an RS5000 offers, then the RSX is recommended. If budget is not an issue, or if you want the best shock available without getting into the "hard-core" off-road shocks, then I recommend the RS9000XL (and the myRIDE wireless remote)!

Johnson Basketball
By Denise I Smithson
Earvin Johnson Jr., better known to us as "Magic" Johnson was born in 1959 in Lansing, Michigan. He started playing basketball seriously while a student at Everett High School in Lansing, MI and played at Michigan State as well - however, he was drafted by the LA Lakers in 1979. The son of a General Motors worker and a school custodian, Johnson was born into a large family and discovered his love of basketball as a child. Johnson claims that he even slept with his basketball!
He got his nickname as the star of Everett High School. A local sportswriter, who had watch the amazing 15-year-old play and scoring 36 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists, felt no other word would describe Earvin other than "Magic!" After excelling at Everett High School, Magic wanted to stay close to home for college, so Michigan State was the obvious choice. Even as a freshman, he was impressive with numbers like 17 points per game and led his college teammates, The Spartans, to a 25.5 record and The Big Ten Conference title. As a sophomore, Johnson and his teammates won the national title in 1979 and beat out Larry Birds' Indiana State in what is thought of as one of the most watched NCAA Championship Game-ever.
Johnson made the decision to go professional and entered into the 1979 draft. Johnson was quickly drafted by the LA Lakers. LA fans were eager to see this famed college player wear the Lakers uniform and he didn't disappoint them. While the NBA's Rookie if the year award went to Larry Bird that year, Magic Johnson did help the Lakers to win the NBA championship in his first season, achieving an impressive 60-22 record. The Lakers were unstoppable the next season as well, with Johnson becoming the first rookie to start in an All Star game since the late sixties.
In the 1980 NBA finals, Johnson scored an incredible 42 points, 15 board, 7 assists and three steals against the Philadelphia 76ers. Johnson was the first rookie to win the MVP award in the NBA finals. Magic Johnson is a modest sort, saying only of his achievement: "I just wanted to do whatever the (Lakers) needed to do to win. I was having fun." Sadly, torn cartilage in his knee would keep him on the sidelines for 45 games in the following season.
Johnson recovered from his injury and the Lakers came back in a big way for the 1981-1982 season. The Lakers handily won their division title and again took on the 76ers in the finals, with another win for the Lakers and another MVP award for Johnson. While Johnson took some heat for the comments he made about Lakers coach Paul Westhead (who was replaced by the now legendary Pat Riley and left himself for the Chicago Bulls), he never let the criticism get to him and his performance in the game was never less than astounding.
In 1984, Magic signed a $25 million dollar contract with the Lakers and they won three NBA titles in the following four years. In the 1986-87 season, he scored an astounding 38 points against Houston and 46 points against the Sacramento Kings-a career high. During this season, he also achieved a career-high average of 23.9 points per game- and Johnson was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player of the Year. He would win this award again in 1989 and 1990.
Prior to the 1991-92 season, Magic made the announcement that he had tested positive for the HIV virus and would be retiring. He did play at the All-Star game that year and won the game's MVP Award, but at this point in his career, Magic turned to outreach-for HIV and AIDS and received the leagues J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award. Not one to be kept down, Magic played for the 1992 US Olympic "Dream Team, wrote a book on safe sexual practices, and ran several businesses. He worked for NBC as a sports commentator and with only sixteen games left in the 1993-94 season, he took the offer of replacing Randy Pfund as the Lakers head coach.
Magic Johnson, in his thirteen NBA seasons came away with 17,707 points, 19.5 points per game average, 6,559 rebounds, and 10,141 assists. He also had an impressive 1,724 steals placing him at ninth place on the all-time list. In 1996-97, he was invited to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and in 2002, he entered the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Magic was a star in basketball and perhaps a former NBA player who knew him best, said it best-"Magic is head-and-shoulders above everybody else. I've never seen anybody as good as him,"-Larry Bird.

By Ricardo d Argence
Chances are if you are into any type of work out program or you belong to a gym, then you have most likely heard about Glutamine. Now just because you have heard the name before doesn't mean that you know all about the product and what it does.

If you were to look up the actual definition of Glutamine, you would see that is it an amino acid that is found in many animal and plant tissue as well as proteins. Manufactures produce this commercially for both biochemical research and medicinal purposes. This is also used for nutrition therapy, as it is an amino acid.
Many people tout glutamine as a brain fuel that's very effective, and doctors have indeed used it to treat depression and alcoholism.

One of the great things about taking this supplement is that there really are no side effects. Some people have reported getting an upset stomach if they take too much but other than that, there really are no side effects.
A lot of people like to take glutamine, of course, but bodybuilders probably top the list. That's because it can help keep muscles from breaking down as you work out.

Does The NHL Still Matter?
By Denise I Smithson
Hockey was once one of the four major American sports. The big four were the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League. But yet, even as some in those group dominate the others (the NFL dominates all sports in terms of popularity), the NHL has not been able to really keep up with the others.
In fact, hockey is not truly considered to be in that big four grouping any longer. Of course, a more accurate description of the sports climate might show that NASCAR and MMA have joined the NFL, NBA and MLB in that top tier. Hockey however is on the outside looking in, no longer enjoying the popularity it once did.
How did this happen to the NHL? Was it the entire season that was lost to the lockout that did this? No, that wasn't the reason, that lost year to the lockout was actually a symptom of the problem itself. The lockout was held because salaries were getting out of control and many franchises, outside of the most popular ones such as the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings, simply could not afford to keep paying as much to their players as they were.
They weren't making enough revenue to pull it off. Revenue is brought in for sports teams through several areas, the most important of which are television rights and ticket sales. As the popularity of the sport waned, these sources of income did as well. Therefore the lockout was a result of the problem, not the cause of the problem.
The lockout however certainly didn't help the situation. When hockey returned the next season they made a deal with the network known as OLN - now Versus - to broadcast their weekly national games. However that cable station reaches only a small fraction of the homes that the major networks reach. This means that hockey simply isn't viewable by a great deal of the population, leaving it in a spot where it can hardly increase its popularity.
Adding to this problem is the fact that hockey isn't the most captivating sport to watch on television. It is a fantastic sport to take in live. This helps explain why the sport is so popular in major metropolitan areas where there is a hockey team. These fans get to go to the games and take in the rabid culture. You can hear the turns and stops of the skating, you can feel the jarring checks as players hit the ice and fall into the boards. The speed and precise nature of the game comes out in a way that it simply cannot on television. Those people who never see a game in person therefore, may not even know what they are missing out on by not being a hockey fan.
Therefore the answer to the question is that no, hockey is no longer one of the major sports in this country. It has lost it's place in that upper echelon, and is struggling for a strategy to get back. It needs to find a way to make its television games more exciting, while also getting those games aired in a spot where more people can view them. Until both of those happen it may be hard for the NHL to regain the spotlight it once had.

Love To Golf? Try A Golf Vacation Resort!,Looking For A Golf Vacation?,Have You Always Wanted To Golf While On Vacation?,Why Not Golf On A Luxurious Vacation Resort?
By Bella Holly
For those who have a real love for golf and a need to travel someplace to play it, golf vacation resorts as a real getaway really can't be beat. And the idea of golf combined with a vacation in a luxury resort can't be overemphasized. As far as trying to find any sort of fault to pick out, there really doesn't seem to be any when it comes to four-star resorts combined with four-star golf courses.
The attractive part of all this is that there are these kinds of resorts popping up all over the world. Even Scotland, the birthplace of golf as we know it, is getting in on the act. But for true high-class resorts and high-class golfing, there aren't many better places to find them combined than in North America. Some of the resorts are paradises of golf and resort living, for a fact.
For those wanting to experience a true PGA atmosphere, and play golf on a frequent home of the U.S. Open, there's nothing like one of the vacation destinations at Pebble Beach, on the Monterey Peninsula. Pebble Beach Golf Links boasts 7 courses and is the number one-ranked set of public courses in the United States.
The quality of the hotels at many of these golf vacation resorts is also four-star. North Carolina's Pinehurst was the 2008 Travel and Leisure magazine Best Golf Resort award winner. Resorts like Pinehurst combine outstanding golf courses with equally outstanding luxury resort hotels that deliver on every promise. Both the courses and the hotels are truly four-star.
The attractiveness of golf vacation resorts as a way to not only get in a truly outstanding golfing experience and a luxury hotel stay in one all-in-one package can't be beat. For many avid golfers, the opportunity to play on world-class, PGA-certified courses is really a chance to play in the major leagues of golf, if only as a visitor.

Main Attractions In Canberra
By Jennifer Schellington
Thinking of driving between Sydney and Melbourne as part of your visit to Australia? You must make a stop off in Canberra, the nation's capital. Its about a 3 hour drive from Sydney or 6 hours from Melbourne. There is also an airport if you wish to fly here.
Most people think that Sydney is in fact the capital of Australia. Did you know that there was such heated debate as to whether Melbourne or Sydney should be the capital, that they decided to create a brand new city just to house the capital. Canberra became the official capital of Australia in 1908.
The state asked some famous architects to come up with a design for the new city. It was Burley Griffin and his wife who won the honour of designing Canberra. The plans were inspired by the garden movement that was very big at that time. The result is that Canberra has beautiful green areas, lush vegetation and is known today as the Bush City.
If you wander just 10 minutes out of the centre of Canberra, you will discover beautiful cycle paths and walkways. The Burley Griffin Lake is a centre piece to the city and here you can walk, cycle, kayak, horse ride or take a boat trip.
To see the city in all its glory then head up to Black Mountain. There is a viewing platform in the Telstra tower as well as a revolving cafe.
The culture is perhaps why most people come to Canberra. It offers a wonderful selection of museums. In fact you could spend a week just getting round them all. The most popular are the Australian Museum where you can understand the heritage of the country. The War Memorial is a museum, shrine and archive which gives an insight into Australia's involvement in the various wars. Why not pop into Parliament House and take a tour so you can understand how it works.
Head just 40 minutes out of the city and you'll find National Parks and a Nature Reserve where you can get up close and personal with the local wildlife - roos, koalas, emus and platypus.
The Poacher's Trail is fast becoming a renowned food and wine route. This trail will take in some wonderful vineyards and wineries. Stop off and try some great red and white wines as well as delicious local produce. Stay the night in a Homestead or quaint B&B.
You can visit Canberra all year round but temperatures can be a bit extreme. It can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter due to its inland position. I'd recommend Spring as you can tie your visit in with the Flower Festival which happens in September/October. Canberra is best known for its displays of tulips at this time, particularly in the Commonwealth Gardens.
March sees the arrival of the Hot Air Balloon Festival which is a must see. You will have to get up early though to see the spectacular take off.
It's hard to say how long you'll need to explore Canberra but in my opinion you need at least 3 days. Why not take longer and lose yourself in the countryside.

American Bulldog: The Minimally Tampered Breed Of The Bulldogs
By Troy Richardson
The American Bulldog is a famous pet among the experts of breeders and canine fanciers not only in the United States but around the world as well. This breed is a descendant of the bull baiting breeds and is the closest living relative of the now extinct Old English Bulldog. Unlike its extensively altered relative breeds in Europe, the American Bulldog remained as close to its original appearance.
There are two types of American Bulldog and these are the Johnson type and the Scott type. These names were derived from breeders who were essential for developing them and they are John D. Johnson and Allen Scott. These types are also commonly called the Classic or Bully type and the Standard or Performance type.
Commonly, the American Bulldog is confused for a white Boxer because indeed, these two hold similarities with each other. The American Bulldog is described as a stocky, powerful and well-built dog with powerful jaws. Its weight generally ranges from 60 to 125 pounds while its height is between 20 to 28 inches.
The coat of this breed is generally smooth and short and sheds lightly or moderately. The coat colors often appear solid white, solid white with black markings, red, brown, brindle and fawn. Standard eye color is brown, and the mouth drools and this most especially with dogs that have looser lips.
The Johnson type, compared to the Scott type has bigger and heavier body and shorter muzzle. The Scott type is simply described as a leggier and bigger Pit Bull. In general, the American Bulldog breed is more agile, has longer legs, and is faster than its English relatives.
The American Bulldog possesses a cheerful and sociable behavior, is comfortable being with the family and does not mind befriending other humans so long as they don't pose a threat. This dog has a strong bond with its master and is sociable to other animals given that he is trained in obedience and socialization at an early age. This dog also needs a constant share of attention because if not, it may develop destructive behaviors.
The American Bulldog is a very energetic working breed that's why it does him best if he is given constant activities. A wide, unfenced yard proves to be sufficient for this breed's activity needs. Daily exercise like walking or running should also be implemented as this will keep him healthy.
The ancestors of the American Bulldog are the bull baiting breeds from England. As bull baiting died out, breeders developed gentler, tamer, and friendlier versions of the fighter dogs. These breeds were then brought to the United States where they were further developed and one of the results is the current American Bulldog.

Learning Skateboarding Tricks.
By Todd Martin
You must have seen all the tricks, stunts and maneuvers that world famous skateboarders for instance Tony Hawk have pulled off over the years, and so, you've now made up your mind that you want to be a skateboarder yourself. Well done! Not only is skateboarding entertaining and a better way to stay in shape (in reality, it is), although, should you become good enough and gifted enough, you can really make a nice and profitable living as an expert street or trick skateboarder. Now think about when you fill out an application form for a credit card, and you come to the box where it asks for your profession - and you write in expert skateboarder. That sounds really cool, right?
Ahead of you embark on your skateboarding career; there are maybe a few things that you must be aware of with reference to skateboards as well as the skateboard traditions itself. Even if it's only been around for sixty years (roughly), skateboarding has merely exploded from a revolutionary activity into a conventional pop-culture incident. Terms such as trucks, grip tape, decks, wheels and more are now understood by people who aren't basically a great deal into the activity of skateboarding. Largely, people who skateboard are a high-spirited, laid-back kind who basically love life and don't take themselves too seriously - even if they take skateboarding very seriously.
In its simplest and most basic form, skateboarding is nothing more than riding or pulling off stunts on a skateboard. That's it, really. However, as with many other things in life, there is much more to skateboarding that simply standing on a deck and rolling along the street. Skateboarding requires a great amount of skill, strength and balance. Without having strong physical attributes, you won't be able to skateboard for a great distance or for a great amount of time. In that sense, skateboarding is much like riding a bike - it's all about practice, practice and more practice. You have to learn to twist and shift your body weight, how to stop, accelerate, and turn and more. Remember, nobody picks up anything on the first try, so it'll take some time before you really are able to master the skateboard. But, with a little practice and a lot of patience, you'll be able to do it!
One more thing to consider about skateboarding is that the world in fact is your canvas. If you're gifted, expert and bold enough, you and your skateboard can obviously go wherever and whenever moreover do everything. From steering hectic city streets to grinding down rails to all over in between, a top skateboarder by no means looks at anything in his or her way as a hurdle. To a certain extent, they look at hindrance as prospects to enlarge their own limits and expertise. Also, over a period of time, you may as well! The great thing regarding skateboarding is that, it doesn't actually matter if you're young or old. If you have a zeal for trying and learning as much as you can about it, in that case you'll soon be able to - at the very least - try all the tricks and moves that your preferred skateboarders carry out habitually.
Since skate boarding is becoming one of the most popular sports in the world, there are numbers of manufacturers that produce skateboard decks, such as Sec9 Channel 9, Plan B skateboard decks, Zoo York skateboard decks etc. You can find professional skateboard decks in goskateorgohome.com which is an online skateboards and accessories supplier providing many brands of complete skateboards like Barfoot Takayama and accessories.

Be Careful, Don't Get The Wrong Ski or Snowboarding Goggles
By Carrie Westengate
Whether you are new to skiing or snowboarding or not, one of the essential pieces of equipment you MUST have are a decent pair of ski/snowboarding goggles. Buying wisely can provide that extra protection while shielding the eyes against harmful UV rays. To me, there is no question that you should have specialist goggles to protect your eyes, sunglasses certainly would not be sufficient. It is important that you don't just go for high fashion, as there are a few things you should think about first.
Goggles are more advantageous over sunglasses because for one, most goggles have anti-mist and venting properties. This is useful, as fogging is a particular problem for beginners rather than for more experienced skiers who are less likely to fall. Additionally, unless you have wrap-round sunglasses your peripheral vision is greatly improved by wearing goggles. Thankfully, you can still wear goggles even if you wear prescription glasses or contacts, although it must be noted that your selection of goggles will be a bit more limited if you wear glasses.
When skiing or snowboarding there are particular elements required for goggles. You must decide for yourself whether to get polarised lenses as there are positives and negatives associated with polarisation. Yes, they will reduce glare, but they may also reduce the ability to see icy patches when skiing. The conditions under which you intend to ski or snowboard should determine the colour lens you choose. While a yellow/orange tint will enhance the contrast and make it easier to pick out objects or bumps in the snow, they work best in low to moderate light or in foggy conditions. Bronze chrome or dark green lenses would be best for very bright sunlight as they would be more comfortable to wear, but these would be disadvantageous in poorer lighting conditions. Rose tints are also good in low-light conditions but if you intend to ski in the night, you should choose clear lenses.
Thankfully, even designer ski and snowboarding goggles come in all sizes and at a wide range of prices (for example, Electric and Oakley goggles can be found from around 70 pounds sterling, or Bloc goggles from a little over 25 and Spy around 80 sterling and above).
Your ski or snowboarding goggles should be a snug fit and are large enough to protect some of your face as well as your eyes from ice chips that may fly up. They should also be made of a soft flexible material and be held in place by strong wide straps to keep them safely in place. Don't forget to check that your new goggles have 100% UV (A and B) protection and remember that the darkness of the lens tint has nothing to do with how good the UV protection is.
To summarise, don't forget to buy your ski or snowboarding goggles before you leave for your first trip as you will get a better deal. Think carefully about when you are likely to use them and the possible light conditions. While regular skiers may tend to have goggles with more than one lens or multiple pairs, to begin with I would probably go for the yellow/orange option for their ability to improve contrast and because they work well in low to moderate lights.

All Kinds Of Information About Bass Fish And Bass Fishing
By Chris Douglas
All over the world, no matter where you are or where you look, you will inevitably find the haunts of the bass fish found in all kinds of watery places like a remote freshwater lake or stream, small ponds and even the ocean itself. Long time studies have shown that bass fishing is the most popular type of sport fishing and for two good reasons; bass fish are fun to catch and make for great eating.
The word "bass" comes down to us from the Middle English word "bars" which literally in olden times meant "perch". The scientific name of the order that the bass fish belong to is Perciformes translated means "perch-like" fish; and the members of this order are divided into two main divisions of freshwater and marine fish depending on which type of water they prefer. They will quite often be found swimming in groups and that group terminology is called a shoal.
There a numerous types of bass fish found in all sorts of watery environments; from small streams and remote ponds and lakes, to the ocean itself. The two main types of bass are referred to as temperate basses and black basses of the scientific family Moronidae. The temperate basses are the striped bass and the white bass; while the black bass group contains the largemouth bass, small mouth, Guadalupe, and spotted bass.
These are not the only species that are referred to by anglers from all over as bass fish. The primary species that are called bass are the black sea bass, the giant sea bass, and the Australian bass; and when you look deeper into what people are calling bass, there are lots of other types of fish that fall under this category as well and are known by similar names.
The sport of bass fishing is huge these days and an entire industry has been built up around the sport to accommodate all those who are wont to participate and become avid bass fisherman. The bass fish is idolized on all kinds of web sites on the Internet and the information that can be found there is mind boggling. Not only informative sites, but also places that have forums where you can make contact with other bass fish anglers and trade tips and good fishing locations, anything you can think of that fishermen would talk about. Every kind of fishing supply can be found on these sites for sale, from lures to rods and reels to all varieties of boats.
Boats are a main component in bass fishing, and depending on your tastes and your wallet there is a bass boat for you. The average sized bass boat is found in the range of 16 to 26feet, and is made up of aluminum or fiberglass and you must have an electric trolling motor on the bow; this is required by law. The types of boats are hundreds and include electric boats, flat boats, jon boats---all kinds of boats that would be used for chasing the elusive bass fish.
The sport of bass fishing is loved by many the world over and for very good reason; because the enjoyment of pursuing the bass fish is exciting in many ways. When you are totally outfitted and have a great little boat that you can park yourself on and just relax for the day on a remote lake or pond; or conversely are having the time of your life hooking and working a fighting bass fish on the end of the line----the fun is never ending and reaffirms the fact for you loud and clear just how much bass fishing is loved by the fishing world.

Information On Skydiving : Clothing & Equipment For Skydiving
By Dennis Irwin
In this installment of our skydiving guide we look at clothing and equipment.
Even basic skydiving requires the use of a range of specialist equipment and clothing. Understanding what each piece does and how it works will improve not only your confidence, but your safety too.
Your parachute is made up of several component parts, which are contained in a single pack that you wear on your back. The main canopy is housed in a unit called a D-bag and is attached via lines to a smaller pilot chute called a drogue, which is deployed first to assist the main canopy in its deployment. Alongside those is a reserve chute that can be deployed in case the main one fails. Once deployed there are hand toggles used to steer and brake.
If for any reason a skydiver fails to attempt to release the parachute, the automatic activation device (or AAD) will kick in. This palm-sized computer measures height above ground level and the speed of descent, and if the jumper fails to deploy the chute by the appropriate height, the AAD will automatically cut a strap to open the parachute. This device can save a skydiver's life in the event of a blackout or entanglement.
An altimeter is a piece of equipment that lets you know how far above ground level you are and how fast you're descending. They work by sensing the pressure levels in the air around your as you fall and are accurate to within a few meters. They are mostly digital and are calibrated on the ground before the plane takes off.
Skydiving suits are worn to give protection from the wind whilst in the air and cuts and scratches on landing. They come in a variety of styles, with differences including tightness (the tighter they are the quicker you'll fall), materials (different ones have different aero-dynamic qualities), and how and where straps are attached (with different designs for different types of skydiving).
A helmet is necessary because there's a possible chance of head trauma when hitting the ground. Landings should be made on your feet, and it's very rare for a skydiver to have to hit the ground and roll, but it's possible for a gust of wind, a trip or other event to put a skydiver's head on the ground. They also typically incorporate two-way radios which allow in-the-air and air-to-ground communication.

Massage Chair Review Of The Human Touch HT 7120 Massage Recliner
By Bart Petersen
This a massage chair review for the Human Touch model HT 7120 recliner. Human Touch is known for their executive looking type massage chairs. They have packed the HT 7120 with many features and functions of which we will highlight the more important ones. We will also review the warranty coverage for this sleek lounger. Let us take a deeper look at the HT-7120 massage chair recliner.
We are first always concerned with the warranty of massage chairs. These are big ticket items and you want to be sure that you have adequate protection from the possibility of problems down the road. We always advise buying your chair from the top manufacturers because there are many cheap imports that promise the world and then just do not deliver. Human Touch is one of the best companies in the industry and has national distribution.
What is the warranty coverage of the HT 7120? Human Touch covers this model with 3 years on the structure of the chair. They cover parts for 1 year and you get 90 days labor. Human Touch offers in home technician service, but this comes at additional expense. Honestly, the warranty for this model is quite short when compared with others in this category. We are somewhat surprised with the coverage of this model, since our experience is it is fairly problem-free. On the customer service side, they are competent and turn around on issues if relatively quick.
The HT-7120 comes with a unique leg rest with a calf massager. The leg rest has two sides. One side containes the calf massager and the other is a leg rest. When the massage chair is not in use, then the chair looks like a leg rest for a normal recliner. When you want a calf massage, then simply flip the leg rest to reveal the calf massager. This unique feature helps to disguise your massage chair as a regular recliner.
This recliner comes with a full body stretch mode. The airbags in the leg rest ottoman will energize to squeeze the legs to hold them. The chair back will then start to slowly recline. As the chair back reclines, it will gently stretch out the body. This body stretch will bring more blood flow to the spine as it decompresses and rejuvenates your back.
We are big fans of heat therapy. The HT-7120 comes with dual lumbar heating elements. Heat therapy helps to reduce swelling and increase blood circulation. These dual lumbar heating elements target the lower back. They provide soothing heat to help reduce lower back pain and bring relief.
The HT 7120 comes with 4 manual massages including rolling, compression, kneading and percussion. There is one 15 minute automatic which can be set for the whole back, lower back or upper back. You can further customize the massages using the massage comfort control. The massage comfort control allows you to adjust the intensity of the massage. The massage intensity ranges from soft to firm with 7 levels of adjustment.
The HT-7120 is a well designed and attractive massage chair recliner. It has an executive look to it. The oval base makes an attractive platform for this contemporary massage chair. We like the massage therapy of this chair, but would like to see better warranty coverage from Human Touch. We do like the fact that this massage recliner will compliment any room in your house. This is a solid massage chair and one worth investigating further.

Understanding the Market Sentiment (Part III)

Besides the interest rates, economic growth of countries can also have a big impact on the overall currency market sentiment. United States is the largest economy in the world. US economy is the key factor in determining the global currency market sentiment especially for the major currency pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, CHF/USD and JPY/USD.
A strong economic expansion coupled with a healthy labor market tends to boost consumer spending in the country. Good economic growth means low unemployment. Low unemployment means jobs for the people. It helps in selling the stuff produced by the local companies and businesses.
A country with a strong economy is in a better position to attract foreign investors. Investments pouring into the country increase the demand for that currency. This increased demand causes that currency to strengthen against other currencies.
How do you measure the economy of a country? Some of the most important indicators of a country economic growth are: 1) Gross Domestic Product (GDP). 2) The unemployment rate and 3) The trade balance. Lets discuss these three economic indicators.
GDP: GDP measures the total good and services that are produced in a particular country in a one year. Actually we will be usually talking about the GDP growth rate whether the economy is expanding or contracting. A healthy GDP growth rate figure usually adds a bullish sentiment to the currency of that country especially if it exceeds the market expectations. Always remember the markets react violently to surprises.
Unemployment Rate: The unemployment rate data reports the state of the labor market in the country. A low unemployment rate is considered to be a positive for the countrys economy and its currency. A low unemployment rate means almost all the consumers have jobs and they are willing to spend more. The more the consumer spends, the more the companies and businesses in the country sell. This generates more output and further expands the economy.
Trade Balance: This is another widely watched economic indicator in fundamental analysis. If a country exports more than it imports, the trade balance is in surplus. If the imports are more than the exports, the country will end up with a trade deficit. Trade deficits are not good and must be balanced by the capital account surplus otherwise a balance of payment problem will ensue.
Suppose US import more from Europe. US Dollar will have to be sold in order to buy Euros to pay for those imports. This selling pressure on US Dollar will result in the depreciation of the US Dollar relative to the Euro and other currencies. The opposite is true in case of a trade surplus. US Dollar will strengthen and appreciate relative to Euro if US exports more to Europe as compared to its imports.
Geopolitical risk refers to the risk of a countrys foreign or domestic policy affecting domestic social and political stability in another country or the region. Geopolitical risk is also very important. It can cause the currency of a country to move up or down relative to other currencies.

Profiles of Poker Players : The Bookworm
By Aeolus Jirou
As you play the game of poker you will encounter different kind of personalities as you go along. Here are some of the most common profiles of poker players that you might come across.
Ally or Foe?
A bookworm is not you ally. They seem to know a lot about poker and they tend to "impart their knowledge" to others at the table. They will teach you anything from what hands you should play to calculating if you're going to win or not. They also have a bad habit of criticizing and laughing at someone who's not a good player which is rude in every aspect. As an aftermath this player might leave the game to look for a friendlier table or will be playing better than anyone have expected. The bookworm's poker skill are average and its not your biggest concern, but you should watch out for their behavior and the way they talk at the table.
Aggressiveness and Selectivity
The bookworm personality plays tight during pre-flop; playing somewhere between 20%-25% of the hands they got. But it is during post-flop that this kind of players panic. They have read a lot of books about poker - they probably brought something in their bag for luck - but these books have a variety of ideas which push these bookworms to continue playing after the flop. The reasoning would be, all players have their own weakness and when they write a book they will correct their weaknesses. So the bookworm have all those weaknesses in mind from reading those books and will result in a too loose and too aggressive type of play during post-flop.
The strength of a starting hand is what almost all poker players agree with and this is the only part that the bookworm absolutely understands.
The type of play of the bookworm will fall in a partially aggressive manner. They are willing to bet but if someone plays along with them they will just call and call unless they are holding a the best hand in town.
Predictability
Yes, the bookworms know about deceptive plays as what they learn from the book. But they are nothing near to a deceptive player. Their style can be read clearly because they often use the same one.
Poker IQ
This sort of poker personalities have low poker IQ even though they might actually have memorizes the poker books they are reading. This is due to the fact that given a change in the gaming situation, the bookworm will not know how to adjust his game because their knowledge is only base on the books they have read and not on their own personal experiences. But they are not aware or ignore to be aware that the authors who wrote those books have written their advice under the general conditions and because situations vary in every play those general advice will not be really as effective. But then bookworms treat those books with reverie and will follow each steps like its the most important thing in poker.
"Hey, BOOKWORMS You're playing poker not building a desk, you can't just follow instructions!"
Bookworms will have a hard time comprehending the motives behind a player's move. They expect that all players must follow what they do and those who don't will be criticize and laugh at.
What You Should Do
One thing that can help you defeat a bookworm and put them in their rightful place is to befriend them, talk to them and try to worm out their game play through them. They are boastful enough to brag about it to anyone who will listen.
If the above mentioned strategy won't work, then the best thing that you should do while playing against a bookworm is to stay aggressive. Bet them to the hilt and let them know that their moves don't scare you.

Review - NCAA Football 10
By Carl Ferguson
College football is something that nearly everyone enjoys. The sound of helmets crushing together. The crowd roaring and the band playing. The atmosphere just sends chills down the spine of every football fan. While there is no replacement for the real thing, NCAA Football 10 comes pretty darn close. The franchise has never been better and there are a lot of new features to check out. Why would you want to get the latest installment of NCAA Football 10? Let's look at the details.
Even though most things have stayed the same with regards to NCAA Football 10, there's still no doubt that you'll get to enjoy a the most realistic football simulation. In fact you've probably never even come across something as realistic as this, thanks to the amazing power of the next generation consoles. It cannot be denied that NCAA Football 10 simply gets better and better each year.
While this year's version of NCAA Football certainly has a wealth of new features, you can of course still go online to compete with others. One noticeable difference is that there is now a new mode, known as "Season Showdown" which by all accounts can only be described as being extremely cool in that you get to play for your favorite school. Once you start playing, you choose the school of your choice and the more you play and win online, the more points you accumulate for the school of your choice. One should also bear in mind that you can play a number of interactive games as well as trivia games in order to earn points. When the end of the year arrives, one school will be awarded the "Season Showdown National Championship", which of course is a great way for you to become involved with others playing the game, and also to cheer for your school.
Even with many new features, one simply cannot deny that the dynasty mode remains one of the ultimate features of the game given that you are able to take the game a step further by creating your own school. When you do this, you of course get the opportunity to name your school, pick a fight song, design a school logo, and of course, you get to create your very own team. Interestingly enough, you can even customize certain individual players in order to play on your team.
The game play is still second to none. For those used to playing Madden, you get a different type of football game. For example, the ability to run the option is a fun feature that you don't get in an NFL game.
Over and above what has already been mentioned, the game planning feature is also incredibly cool in that it allows you to put to a certain amount of the emphasis on the game. In other words, one can always decide to put more emphasis on opening up running lanes should you be having trouble running the ball. Of course, you do need to bear in mind that if you do this it will result in you getting more holding calls.
Perhaps the most welcome addition to the game is the new "play calling" mode which allows you to keep your opponents guessing and as such, you have an opportunity to catch them with their guards down.
Overall, there's just nothing out there quite like NCAA Football 10. It is unmatched in the gaming industry and it is the leader in the field for a reason. Check out the game today and immerse yourself in college football again.

Trading Price Action In Currency Markets
By Ahmad Hassam
If you want to become a successful trader, you should immerse yourself completely in the subject in order to find your edge. In case, you are already a winning trader than you should know exactly what your edge is.
Even the most advanced traders find it difficult to understand, interpret and trade the sharp moves often seen in the forex markets. By learning to read and interpret price action, you can develop a huge advantage for you as a trader.
In a steep decline, one should be careful to measure the reaction of the longs. You must know if the move has the chance to turn into a rout.
Look at the reaction of the longs as soon as the rate begins to go south, this way you may be able to determine if the market is sitting on a large number of long positions. In case, the spike is followed by a sharp V recovery, you should avoid shorting the pair.
Many buyers entering the market at lower levels tell you that the market is not heavily long. These lower prices mean bargain prices for those wishing to accumulate long positions.
Moving averages (MAs) are among the oldest, true and tested lagging indicators. MAs can be simple as well as exponential. Widely used moving averages are the 50, 100 and 200 day MAs. Many traders use MAs in making trading decisions.
Moving averages are lagging indicators and relate with the past price action. MAs can be used effectively in day trading for entering and exiting positions in one way markets.
During sharp moves, it becomes difficult for the trader to properly enter a position since retracements are far and few.
Moving averages can be used as dynamic resistance levels in such situations. This should give far better results than the static support and resistance levels used by majority of the traders.
The advantages of using Moving Averages this way gives you dynamic levels to trade off and gauge price action taking place. MAs can help you avoid using arbitrary levels in trading a position on when you should take profit.
